What types of custom steel fabrication jobs do you take on?
Most things, honestly. We handle everything from one-off replacement parts and equipment modifications through to full custom builds from scratch. Agricultural equipment is our bread and butter, we've been doing it for over 25 years, but if it's a steel fabrication job and it needs to be built tough, get in touch and we'll tell you if we can help.
Can you work from my own design or measurements?
Absolutely. Bring us whatever you've got, detailed drawings, a rough sketch, photos of what you're trying to replicate, or just a description of the problem you're trying to solve. We're used to working it out from all sorts of starting points. If we spot anything that could be improved before we start cutting, we'll say so.
Do you offer onsite welding, or is everything done in the workshop?
Both. Most of our custom steel fabrication work happens here in our Walgett workshop, where we've got CNC laser cutting and full machining capability. But we know that some jobs – or some pieces of equipment, can't easily come to us. If that's your situation, talk to us about onsite welding and we'll work out what's possible.
How long will my job take?
It depends on where we're at with current orders and the complexity of your job. We won't give you a vague answer, call us directly and we'll tell you exactly what the lead time looks like right now. If your situation is urgent, let us know that too and we'll do our best.
Do you ship fabricated equipment to other states?
